A symposium provides the researchers an opportunity to present research on a topic, integrated in a coherent group of works.

The proposal for a symposium must be submitted by the Coordinator of the work group.

Please, note that a symposium must:
- have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 communications with no more than 500 words, excluding bibliographic references, and 3 to 5 keywords;

How to submit a Symposium video

See below the detailed steps for symposium submission:

1| Before submitting the symposium, the coordinator and the authors who will be submitting the abstracts included in the symposium (symposium members) must create an account on the website. This step is essential so that all members can access the symposium proposal and subsequently submit abstracts and download certificates.
2| Once the accounts have been created, the coordinator must LOGIN and in the left side menu of the personal area select the "Abstracts" tab and then the "Proposals" option . Click on "Submit new proposal"
3| At this stage, the coordinator must fill in all the fields, considering de following: 1) The symposium abstract should describe the theme of the symposium, and its importance to the framework of the conference, with a maximum of 500 words; 2) The members section should be field in with the authors that will submit the abstracts included in the symposium. If the coordinator is one of the authors that will submit an abstract, his/her name should be included. Indicating the members of the symposium at this stage is very important so that they can submit the abstracts included in the symposium.
4| After the symposium has been submitted. The authors indicated in the previous step should access their personal areas, select the "Abstracts" tab of the lift side menu, then the "Proposals" option and access the "Related" tab. Here there will be available a block with the information of the submitted proposal, and an option "Submit abstract". Select this option.
5| When submitting an abstract within the symposium, the other authors of the abstract can now be indicated in the members' section. At this stage, this authors do not need to have an account created yet. Each abstract within the symposium must have a maximum of 500 words.

Symposium sessions have 90 minutes to present the communications, with 15 minutes to each communication.

The moderation of the symposium must be ensured by the Coordinator of the symposium.
